10 dates, pitted and chopped in a food processor
1/4 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup smart balance or coconut oil
1 Tb cumin seed
1tsp fennel seed
1tsp mustard seed
1 tsp red chile powder
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1 cup currents or raisins
3 cups puffed millet
shredded unsweetened coconut
melt the smart balance in a large pot, and then add in the coconut sugar and cook for about 1 min on medium heat. Add in the dates and continue to cook, while stirring another 2-3 minutes. Add the spices and let cook for another minute. Then turn off the heat and stir in the raisins and millet. With wet hands form into bite size balls, and then roll into coconut
